On the woven wall of rocks
The sea’s waves burst heavily
Against the snuff-colored
Rock face and lament
In the ocean’s meandering voices –
The roar of the waves and the
Sound of the sea caught in conch shells.
I stand before the vast horizon
Of the crab-clawed sea as jellyfish
Litter the ocean like puffy clouds
In the sky.
