I love the shape of the moon as transcribed
by a dolphin’s eye. It lies
outside the edges of finite structure.
Three plus three equals a quarter
past noon (on a good day). The waves
laugh at the cycle superimposed
over our sighs. It understands
the true pull of gravity, and finds no compassion
for the grace we call tact. I choose to listen
to the song of sand’s disintegration.
Beauty is corrosion
and a complete disdain for hard-edged forms.
