We watch a movie,
about ghosts and love,
about truth and justice,
and hear a word.
One word, sticking
with us for the rest
of your life, spoken
in moments of love.
I'm on my knees, in
front of the old and
the new, wind wrapping
its arms around me.
I plead.
But I hear nothing.
There was once a time,
when there was a reply.
I said I love you
and you simply said...
...Ditto.
