my heart is filing a lawsuit
against yours for harassment

i had
no resistance
to your insistence
lost composure
from your exposure
you incriminated yourself
wrapped
in decrees of degrees
of sudden coldness
as you abbreviated your stances
towards my advances

now my damaged emotion
is filing the motion

to restrain your love
at least a heart's length
away from mine.
