Loud sounds scare me cold
Electric saw zaps all thoughts
Sewing machine stitches mind shut
Hammer beats nails through my heart
Hide under Oak behind house
Cloaked in many colors
Like Jacob's coat
I hug her solid trunk
Lay down on her leafy mattress
Embraced by gentle touch
Consoled by her quiet breeze
